We build for the sandwich generation, because we're in it.
FamSteady exists because the tools for caring at a distance were either surveillance dressed up as safety, or dashboards that handed families more anxiety than answers. We thought the whole category had the wrong goal.
What we believe
Peace of mind is the product. Not data. Most days, the most valuable thing technology can tell a worried son or daughter is a quiet all is well — so that's what we optimized for.
Dignity is a design requirement. The person being cared for is a user, not a subject. Parents control what they share, see what their family sees, and get an experience built for them — encouraging, legible, and never condescending.
The quiet signals matter most. The research is unambiguous: money slips and mobility changes speak years before crises do. Listening for them kindly is the most useful thing a product like this can do — we published the evidence we build on.
The company
