Missed medications: how families can talk about it

Treat missed medications as a puzzle you're solving together. Say what you noticed, ask how the routine feels from their side, look for the ordinary barriers (timing, side effects, cost, confusion, poor sleep), and offer help they get to choose, like a pill organizer, pharmacy syncing, or a medication review. Shame ends the conversation. Curiosity keeps it going.
